Small Kitchen Update

I am constantly changing the placement of furniture and décor in our home to keep things interesting. What can I say, I like a change and I like a challenge! In some areas of the house, like the bathrooms and kitchen, it’s a little harder to change the look of the space without knocking down walls and investing in expensive updates. Recently in our kitchen we decided to make a small update and replace our older sink faucet for a new from American Standard. It was a simple, rather inexpensive change, and the new shiny chrome finish really brightens up the space.     Not only is it a beautiful new feature in the kitchen, but it is also extremely practical. The MeasureFill feature is awesome. When I’m making pasta for the kids, or brownies for Brian, I don’t need to reach for a measuring cup. Holiday Wish List 2017. To Give and To Get!

Happy Holidays! Can you believe it is already that time again?! I feel like summer was gone in the blink of an eye but I'm excited for the holidays this year. I ran to the market to pick up some milk last night and the Salvation Army volunteer was ringing his bell, the lights were all strung up and I could see the Christmas Tree's for sale across the lot and I got that warm fuzzy feeling that this time of year can bring. This year I wanted to make sure I got my holiday wish list out early so here it is! Mark and Graham These clutches from Mark and Graham are so gorgeous and I have been lusting after them. I could use on in every color but I resisted and only purchased the camel as a little treat for myself. I also had it monogrammed because I am all about the monogramming this holiday! Sixpenny Love

Every now and again I have the opportunity to work with a company I haven't heard of before and I am always excited to find new and beautiful items that I can share with you all. And every now and then I am blown away by how amazing they are.  Sixpenny  has done that. I am so impressed by the quality of their products and the customer service they provide is top notch. They have proven to be a company that has gone above the industry norm to produce a line of products that will last the test of time. The craftsmanship involved in all of the Sixpenny furniture is beyond excellent. I can't get over how much attention is shown to the detail of their pieces. Vintage Round Top Business and Branding Workshop

Wow, how time flies and I can't believe it has already been over a month since I was in Round Top TX speaking at the Business and Branding workshop hosted by the fabulous Paige and Smoot, owners of the  Vintage Round Top  in the town of Round Top TX. Population 90, except for twice a year when hundreds of thousands of people fill this quaint little town hoping to buy or sell the miles and miles of vintage goods. It's like nothing you will ever experience anywhere else in the world and so worth the trip if you aren't lucky enough to live nearby. It was such an incredible experience to have the opportunity to participate in this workshop alongside Maria from Two Peas and Their Pod   , Ashleigh Amoroso   and Kadie Smith from Dropcap Design. The weekend started off with a Friday night dinner in the Vintage Round Top Boho house for all of the workshop panelists. The styling by Becki Griffins of Curious Details was incredible and the food absolutely fantastic....

Our New Verona Range and Review

We turned what was the original dining room and part of the kitchen seen below in to a much more open kitchen area and we are so happy we did. It took a lot of planning and researching the products that we have used in our kitchen space.

A toddlers room with Chasing Paper

You may remember my last collaboration with Chasing Paper back when we made over Emma's room here below. I can't say enough about this wallpaper. The quality is so good. Thick paper with an adhesive backing that basically seems like a giant sticker that is so easy to apply to the wall and comes right off. Trust me I'm no pro when it comes to wallpaper but I was able to apply this so easily and even when I messed up a little, I was able to peel it off and start again. A product that allows do overs....I'm loving that all day long!
